Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports when she was 14. Following her training in kickboxing, boxing BJJ and wrestling, she had her first professional fight against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was just 18. Ladd became more confident after this win and won 3 bouts in Ultimate Reno Combat. Her opponents all fell by the start of the round. Ladd went back to WCFC for the purpose of defeating Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous verdict. Aspen was able to defeat Silvia Babaeghian, and Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo at WCFC 9. Cynthia beat Aspen in the fight, beating her with a unanimous decision. Cynthia's record as an amateur was damaged. Ladd rebounded from her defeat, and won Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to improve her record to 8-1. Aspen was a professional when she entered the ranks in 2015. She joined Invicta FC and made her debut. Invicta Fc 11 she dominated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the fight in one round with a TKO. She won her next fight against Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission and went up to the weight of bantamweight in her next bout at Invicta FC 16. Aspen employed her skills in wrestling to take out McGill with a TKO during the third round (elbows & punches). Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 in the weight class of catchweight(138.1lb) since Ladd was unable to reach the weight limit. Aspen was a dominant Hoy and finished her off in the second round with a TKO. As for her final fight for this promotion, Ladd beat Sijara Eubanks via unanimous decision at Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to debut. She faced Linalansberg during UFC Fight Night 118. She dominated Lina by pounding and grounding her before prevailing by TKO in the second round. She continued to dominate and scored a more impressive win when she fought Tonya Evinger, at UFC 229 Ladd finished Evinger in the first round, and was awarded a performance of the night bonus. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes was in the UFC's Fight Night dos anjos-lee fight with Eubanks of Sijara, was the first match she's ever had in any significant capacity. Ladd won the fight of the night bonus, after both fighters had a fierce fight back and forth. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd within 16-seconds, ending her win streak. Following a brief break her return to the ring and finished Yana Kunizkaya of the UFC in their ESPN 7 third-round fight. In a match that was a replacement to UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. The fight ended in an unanimous decision.
